Titia Sixma (PhD) is a group Leader at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Oncode Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and affiliated professor at ErasmusMC, Rotterdam. Her lab makes use of a combination of structural biology, biophysics and biochemistry to quantitatively analyze molecular mechanisms in cells. A major focus in the lab is on ubiquitin enzymes and their regulation, giving novel insights in the allosteric regulation of DUBs and E3 ligases in DNA replication and repair.
